This month our book has been chosen for us by Esther Freud. She has recommended The Summer Book by Tove Jansson. Here’s what Esther Freud had to say about why she chose The Summer Book:

At Give a Book we’re big fans of the wonderful Moomin series which we use in so many of our different projects. However, Jansson’s adult novels, of which she wrote ten, are equally special.
