“A range of emotion-inducing poems chosen by a hundred famous men including Stephen Fry, Salman Rushdie, Patrick Stewart and Benjamin Zephaniah. Joy, pain, sadness, hope, the courage to keep going in the face of heartbreak… The poems in this collection are a testimony to the extraordinary power of poetry to move, inspire and save us. Also brilliant is the follow-up volume, in which women do the selecting: Poems That Make Grown Women Cry.”
