Collaboration in Action: Strengthening Children’s Reading Through Shared Learning and Collective Impact

Give a Book along with Coram Beanstalk and Chapter One worked together to create The Literacy Link which launched with an event at Mercers’ Hall in April 2025.

The aims of the network are to improve collaboration, share knowledge and impact to support children’s literacy. There are now 12 active steering member organisations and around 45 charities attended the event. 

The areas we are looking at are:

A shared advocacy moment in 2026 

Gaining a better understanding of the literacy landscape and the unique place of all the organisations within it to use the combined expertise, data and evidence we all have to work together more effectively, 

Raising awareness within the sector to encourage engagement so that schools  know where to get the help they need.
