Shirley Hughes: Just William

Illustrator and children’s author Shirley Hughes has chosen Just William by Richmal Crompton, illustrated by Thomas Henry.

Shirley Hughes, CBE, has illustrated over two hundred books, and is the author of fifty herself. She has won the Kate Greenaway Medal for children’s book illustration twice, including for one of her best known classics, Dogger (1997).
