Ben Aaronovitch is a British author who has written for the TV shows Doctor Who and Casualty. He is best known for his urban fantasy series, Rivers of London. The latest novella in the Rivers of London series, Winters Gift’s is out on 8th June 2023. A brand new role-playing game based on the novels is also available.
I don’t seek out literature but my mum had all these Women’s Press books lying around the house and the cover was intriguing. An extraordinary voyage around the black population of a small American town written with such lyricism that it changed the way I looked at words forever.
