Alex Wheatle: Treasure Island

This month, the Bard of Brixton, Alex Wheatle, gives his recommendation. We asked him what book was his favourite as a child.

“A book that was important to me as a child? Hmmmm. Huckleberry Finn, Ivanhoe… I liked adventure stories. Treasure Island was probably my favourite!”
