The awesome Stage Spiders is a student–led volunteering group working out of Kent University. They run a host of community youth projects with the aim of encouraging confidence and creativity in children and young people through drama, storytelling, crafts, and games. They’ve won numerous awards for their energetic and creative work.
They also host fantastic and effective fundraising events– notably their famous 12 hour Readathon on World Book Day. In 2014 this was awarded “Best Student Fundraising Event”. For the past few years they have performed their Readathon in full voice in aid of Give a Book. We are immensely proud and grateful to them for their support which enabled us to start a whole new Magic Breakfast Book Club in their name and much more besides. It also looks like a lot of fun.
