World Book Day news
On World Book Day 2015 Minister for School Reform Nick Gibb announced a new action plan to inspire thousands more children to read. This includes setting up book clubs in schools, promoting library membership and encouraging reading and reciting poetry for the Poetry by Heart competition. Give a Book was lucky to be at Merton Abbey Primary School with our partners from Book Clubs in Schools when the Minister dropped in to join a Book Club.
