This month, we are delighted to have a book choice from actress Hayley Mills, star of The Parent Trap, Pollyanna, Wild at Heart…and far too many others to list!
I have been endlessly mulling over my favourites, it’s very difficult to choose one when there are so many! Finally, I have decided to recommend a book that is not only a wonderful brilliantly written novel but equally engrossing and illuminating. It’s A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
It is about the evolutionary impulse of the Universe of which we are all a vital part. Tolle talks about our individual responsibility, the key, to be aware and present. We think we are, but we’re not, and the enormous difference being aware makes to ones own life, and to the life and health of the planet! Of all the ‘motivational ‘ speakers that I have come across, Eckhart Tolle is the most accessible, relevant and inspirational. And he has a great sense of humour!
I have given this book to many friends and family.
