Roehampton Reads at Heathmere School

We recently spent a wonderful day at Heathmere Primary School for the first Roehampton Reads Festival. With a great line-up of events, it was a chance for children and families to listen to authors, poets, illustrators and performers in this festival of words, books and stories.

The Alligator’s Mouth Bookshop had a stall at the Festival

We were very happy to provide books and bags for children to take home at the end of the day – here are some of the festival goers waiting to get their books signed by Kes Gray, author of Oi Frog!  Thanks to Hachette for their help supplying these books.

Neal Zetter (Heathmere’s Patron of Reading), Joshua Seigal and Piers Torday were among the authors and performers on the day. Other appearances from Ross MontgomerySally Kindberg, Bali Rai and Kevin Graal helped to make it a fantastic day for all.
